Publication Ethics

Rawafed Journal for Social and Human Studies is committed to the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct in academic publishing. The journal adheres to the principles and guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).


Authors’ Responsibilities

  • Submit original and unpublished work that is not under consideration by any other journal.
  • Ensure accurate and complete citation of all sources and references in accordance with APA Style (7th edition).
  • Disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest that may influence the research or its interpretation.

Reviewers’ Responsibilities

  • Conduct objective, constructive, and confidential evaluations of submitted manuscripts.
  • Refrain from using any information or data obtained through the peer review process for personal, professional, or academic advantage.

Editorial Responsibilities

  • Make publication decisions based solely on the scientific quality, originality, and relevance of the manuscript, as well as reviewers’ reports.
  • Address complaints, appeals, or ethical concerns through transparent, impartial, and well‑defined procedures.

Handling of Research Misconduct

The journal reserves the right to reject, retract, or take corrective action regarding any manuscript found to involve plagiarism, data fabrication or falsification, redundant or duplicate publication, or other forms of unethical research or publication practices, in accordance with international academic publishing standards.
